Description

The Flute Marble Dining Table combines a generous round tabletop with a vertically fluted pedestal that introduces texture without changing the clean profile of the design. The ribbed base creates subtle light and shadow throughout the day, adding depth while keeping the overall form simple. Its central pedestal allows chairs to be positioned freely around the table, making it suitable for both compact and open dining spaces. Made from 100% natural marble, each table has its own veining and natural surface variation. Available in Beige Travertine and Carrara White, it can also be manufactured in bespoke sizes and other marble types to meet project requirements.

Marble care

While your marble surface arrives pre-sealed, this beautiful natural stone remains inherently porous. To prevent scratches, chips, or stubborn stains, please follow these daily care practices:

 Defending the Surface

  • Guard Against Acids: Keep highly acidic items—including citrus juices, wine, coffee, and tomato-based products—off the stone. They can etch and dull the finish.
  • Use Protective Barriers: Always place coasters, trivets, or placemats beneath glassware, hot dishes, and sharp or heavy objects to shield the marble from thermal shock and scratches.
  • Blot Spills Fast: If a spill occurs, act quickly. Blot the liquid immediately rather than wiping (which spreads it), then wipe the area down with a clean, damp cloth.

 Safe Cleaning Practices

  • Daily Dusting: Keep the surface free of debris by wiping it regularly with a dry, microfiber cloth.
  • Gentle Washing: For a deeper clean, use a soft cloth moistened with warm water and a drop of mild, pH-neutral dish soap. Always follow up with a fresh, water-only damp cloth to erase any soap residue.
  • Products to Avoid: Keep harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive scrubbing pads, furniture polishes, and standard dusting sprays far away from your marble, as they can strip the sealant.
Travertine care

Travertine care

Crafted from genuine Italian travertine, each piece is individually shaped and cut to follow the stone's organic, natural veining. The surface features a refined, honed satin finish and comes pre-sealed to highlight its innate elegance. Because travertine is defined by its organic origin, elements like natural pitting, shifting textures, and unique color variations are inherent traits to be celebrated—making your piece entirely one of a replica. Additionally, its naturally porous composition makes it versatile enough to beautifully withstand a variety of outdoor environments.

Maintenance & Protection Guide

 Routine Cleaning

  • Debris Removal: To clear dust and particles from the stone's natural pits, dust regularly or gently clear the crevices using a soft-bristled brush or a handheld vacuum.
  • Standard Washing: Wipe down the surface periodically using a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a touch of mild dish soap.
  • Shield the Sealant: Absolutely avoid abrasive scrubbing pads and harsh chemical cleaners, which can erode the stone. Plan to periodically re-apply a stone sealer over time to maintain its protective barrier.

 Everyday Safeguards

  • Deflect Heat & Rings: Always place trivets under hot cookware and use coasters for beverages to prevent ring marks and heat discoloration.
  • Block Acidic Compounds: Keep acidic items like wine, tomato sauces, coffee, and fruit juices entirely off the surface, as they can permanently etch the stone.
  • Manage Spills Promptly: If a spill happens, immediately soak up the moisture using a soft, dry cloth.
  • Mind the Weight: Because of travertine's porous matrix, avoid dragging sharp tools or placing excessively heavy, pointed objects directly on the surface to prevent chips, scratches, and nicks.

Frequently asked questions

Can I order this table in a different marble?

Yes. Alongside the standard marble options, we can produce the table in the customer's preferred natural marble, subject to material availability. This helps maintain consistency with other stone finishes used within the project.

How many people can this table seat?

Seating capacity depends on the diameter selected. We can recommend the most suitable size based on the number of people you plan to seat regularly.

Is every marble table different?

Yes. Natural marble varies from one slab to another, so differences in veining, fossil markings and tone are expected. These are natural characteristics of the material rather than manufacturing defects.
