Description

The Oris Marble Dining Table features a circular tabletop supported by a single cylindrical pedestal, creating a balanced and practical design for a range of interior settings. Made from 100% natural marble, each table displays its own veining and surface variation, reflecting the characteristics of the stone from which it is produced. It is available in Beige Travertine, Red Travertine, Carrara White, and Nero Marquina, with additional marble options available on request. The round shape encourages comfortable seating and conversation, while bespoke sizes can be manufactured to suit individual residential, hospitality, and commercial projects.

Marble care

While your marble surface arrives pre-sealed, this beautiful natural stone remains inherently porous. To prevent scratches, chips, or stubborn stains, please follow these daily care practices:

 Defending the Surface

  • Guard Against Acids: Keep highly acidic items—including citrus juices, wine, coffee, and tomato-based products—off the stone. They can etch and dull the finish.
  • Use Protective Barriers: Always place coasters, trivets, or placemats beneath glassware, hot dishes, and sharp or heavy objects to shield the marble from thermal shock and scratches.
  • Blot Spills Fast: If a spill occurs, act quickly. Blot the liquid immediately rather than wiping (which spreads it), then wipe the area down with a clean, damp cloth.

 Safe Cleaning Practices

  • Daily Dusting: Keep the surface free of debris by wiping it regularly with a dry, microfiber cloth.
  • Gentle Washing: For a deeper clean, use a soft cloth moistened with warm water and a drop of mild, pH-neutral dish soap. Always follow up with a fresh, water-only damp cloth to erase any soap residue.
  • Products to Avoid: Keep harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive scrubbing pads, furniture polishes, and standard dusting sprays far away from your marble, as they can strip the sealant.
Travertine care

Travertine care

Crafted from genuine Italian travertine, each piece is individually shaped and cut to follow the stone's organic, natural veining. The surface features a refined, honed satin finish and comes pre-sealed to highlight its innate elegance. Because travertine is defined by its organic origin, elements like natural pitting, shifting textures, and unique color variations are inherent traits to be celebrated—making your piece entirely one of a replica. Additionally, its naturally porous composition makes it versatile enough to beautifully withstand a variety of outdoor environments.

Maintenance & Protection Guide

 Routine Cleaning

  • Debris Removal: To clear dust and particles from the stone's natural pits, dust regularly or gently clear the crevices using a soft-bristled brush or a handheld vacuum.
  • Standard Washing: Wipe down the surface periodically using a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a touch of mild dish soap.
  • Shield the Sealant: Absolutely avoid abrasive scrubbing pads and harsh chemical cleaners, which can erode the stone. Plan to periodically re-apply a stone sealer over time to maintain its protective barrier.

 Everyday Safeguards

  • Deflect Heat & Rings: Always place trivets under hot cookware and use coasters for beverages to prevent ring marks and heat discoloration.
  • Block Acidic Compounds: Keep acidic items like wine, tomato sauces, coffee, and fruit juices entirely off the surface, as they can permanently etch the stone.
  • Manage Spills Promptly: If a spill happens, immediately soak up the moisture using a soft, dry cloth.
  • Mind the Weight: Because of travertine's porous matrix, avoid dragging sharp tools or placing excessively heavy, pointed objects directly on the surface to prevent chips, scratches, and nicks.

Frequently asked questions

What material is the Oris Marble Dining Table made from?

The Oris Marble Dining Table is made from solid natural marble. Every slab has its own pattern and texture, so each finished table has a unique appearance.

Which marble options are available?

This table is available in Beige Travertine, Red Travertine, Carrara White, and Nero Marquina. If you require a different marble, we can discuss alternative stone options based on availability.

Can this dining table be made in a custom size?

Yes. The Oris Marble Dining Table can be manufactured in custom dimensions to suit the layout of your project. We can produce both smaller and larger sizes depending on your requirements.

Can I order this table in a different marble?

Yes. Alongside the standard marble options, the table can be produced in the customer's preferred natural marble, subject to material availability. This allows the design to match other stone finishes within the project.

Why does every table look different?

Marble is a natural material, so variations in veining, colour and texture are expected. These differences are part of the stone and mean that no two tables are exactly the same.

How many people can this table seat?

Seating capacity depends on the diameter selected. We can recommend suitable dimensions based on the number of people the table is intended to accommodate.

Is this dining table suitable for commercial use?

Yes. The Oris Marble Dining Table can be supplied for hotels, restaurants, offices, retail spaces and residential developments. It is also suitable for furniture retailers and interior design projects.

How should a natural marble dining table be maintained?

Clean the surface with a soft cloth and use a cleaner intended for natural stone when required. Wipe away spills promptly and avoid abrasive cleaning products to help maintain the finish.
