Description

Bring a breathtaking focal point into your home with a table designed to last a lifetime. This stunning piece pairs a sleek, clean-lined rectangular tabletop with two heavily fluted, classical pillar pedestal bases that offer absolute stability while leaving plenty of legroom for your guests. Crafted entirely from 100% genuine, full-thickness natural marble, it avoids cheap veneers or manufactured composites completely. To make sure it handles everyday family life and dinner parties beautifully, the stone is finished with a premium matte sealant that protects its raw, tactile beauty. While shown in a classic white, you can choose from four incredible natural stones to match your interior perfectly: timeless Carrara White, dramatic purple-veined Viola Calacatta, rich burgundy Rosso Lovato, or the deep, striking Nero Marquina. If you need a specific size or want to source a completely different stone, our design team can custom-make this exact table to fit your dining room flawlessly.

Marble care

While your marble surface arrives pre-sealed, this beautiful natural stone remains inherently porous. To prevent scratches, chips, or stubborn stains, please follow these daily care practices:

 Defending the Surface

  • Guard Against Acids: Keep highly acidic items—including citrus juices, wine, coffee, and tomato-based products—off the stone. They can etch and dull the finish.
  • Use Protective Barriers: Always place coasters, trivets, or placemats beneath glassware, hot dishes, and sharp or heavy objects to shield the marble from thermal shock and scratches.
  • Blot Spills Fast: If a spill occurs, act quickly. Blot the liquid immediately rather than wiping (which spreads it), then wipe the area down with a clean, damp cloth.

 Safe Cleaning Practices

  • Daily Dusting: Keep the surface free of debris by wiping it regularly with a dry, microfiber cloth.
  • Gentle Washing: For a deeper clean, use a soft cloth moistened with warm water and a drop of mild, pH-neutral dish soap. Always follow up with a fresh, water-only damp cloth to erase any soap residue.
  • Products to Avoid: Keep harsh chemical cleaners, abrasive scrubbing pads, furniture polishes, and standard dusting sprays far away from your marble, as they can strip the sealant.
Travertine care

Travertine care

Crafted from genuine Italian travertine, each piece is individually shaped and cut to follow the stone's organic, natural veining. The surface features a refined, honed satin finish and comes pre-sealed to highlight its innate elegance. Because travertine is defined by its organic origin, elements like natural pitting, shifting textures, and unique color variations are inherent traits to be celebrated—making your piece entirely one of a replica. Additionally, its naturally porous composition makes it versatile enough to beautifully withstand a variety of outdoor environments.

Maintenance & Protection Guide

 Routine Cleaning

  • Debris Removal: To clear dust and particles from the stone's natural pits, dust regularly or gently clear the crevices using a soft-bristled brush or a handheld vacuum.
  • Standard Washing: Wipe down the surface periodically using a soft cloth dampened with warm water and a touch of mild dish soap.
  • Shield the Sealant: Absolutely avoid abrasive scrubbing pads and harsh chemical cleaners, which can erode the stone. Plan to periodically re-apply a stone sealer over time to maintain its protective barrier.

 Everyday Safeguards

  • Deflect Heat & Rings: Always place trivets under hot cookware and use coasters for beverages to prevent ring marks and heat discoloration.
  • Block Acidic Compounds: Keep acidic items like wine, tomato sauces, coffee, and fruit juices entirely off the surface, as they can permanently etch the stone.
  • Manage Spills Promptly: If a spill happens, immediately soak up the moisture using a soft, dry cloth.
  • Mind the Weight: Because of travertine's porous matrix, avoid dragging sharp tools or placing excessively heavy, pointed objects directly on the surface to prevent chips, scratches, and nicks.

Frequently asked questions

What materials are used to build the Aurora dining table?

This table is crafted entirely from 100% genuine, solid natural marble from the tabletop down to the supporting bases. We do not use any thin stone veneers, plastic laminates, or engineered wood composites, ensuring you receive a heavy, premium piece of genuine stone furniture.

Which marble colour choices do you offer for this table?

You can order this design in four beautiful, distinct natural marble profiles to suit your home's decor. Your choices include classic grey-veined Carrara White, dramatic purple-toned Viola Calacatta, rich burgundy Rosso Lovato, and deep, sophisticated Nero Marquina.

Can I order this table in a custom size or a different type of marble?

Yes, we can fully customise the dimensions of this table to fit your room's layout exactly. If you have a specific look in mind, our workshop can also handcraft this identical pillar design in whichever unique global marble variety you prefer.

Why is a solid marble table a better long-term investment for my home?

Solid stone is incredibly durable and holds its beauty far better than budget alternatives that warp or peel at the edges over time. Because it is solid marble through and through, the surface can always be professionally re-polished or restored if it ever suffers accidental scratches or wear after years of happy use.

Are the marble surfaces pre-treated to protect against spills?

Yes, every table is treated at our workshop with a professional, deep-penetrating sealer that shields the natural stone against liquid and oil spills. This protective barrier gives you vital peace of mind during busy family meals while keeping the gorgeous, natural texture of the marble intact.
